Welcome to MacPherson’s General Store, serving the cottaging and camping area of Ontario’s northern Temiskaming district since 1985. We are located on Highway 11 in the community of Kenogami, 600 kilometers north of Toronto. Several popular cottage lakes are close by including Kenogami, Sesekinika, Round, Butler, and Watebeg lakes. The opportunity for outdoor pursuits is endless. In summertime the cottagers quadruple our ranks. In fall-time we witness an invasion of hunters. Springtime brings the fishermen and in winter the world-class O.F.S.C. snowmobile trail network is right at our doorstep bringing visiting sledders from all over North America.

This web-site is our attempt to keep in touch with our many seasonal customers. In our almanac you’ll find up to date information on all kinds of seasonal matters from ice and snow depths in winter to forest fire ratings and local special events in summer. We hope the local links we have included will give you a great snapshot of what’s happening daily in our neck of the woods. Two of our major suppliers are represented with their own corporate site links and we hope you’ll browse in our gift shop.
